First things first let me point out to you that I am in fact an atheist therefore church views have absolutely no effect on me. Your accusation of it running my life is completely false and uncalled for. Another point, my government is not Nazi.

I am well versed in history and am very aware of the history of marriage. I have no need of a history lesson from you.

My problem with the story you are referring to is the simple fact that they are far too young to realize the ramifications of having a child so young. Both are barely out of childhood themselves.

They cannot be emotionally equipped to handle a child who is dependent on them when they themselves are still dependent on their own parents.

One cannot discard a child when it gets to hard. It's for life.

They both have not completed school and have no source of income other then their parents. Now, granted they might be able to succeed but it's a long and tough road. That both probably didn't consider that night of unprotected sex.

If you're so secure in your knowledge of history then I should have no reason to tell you that this is no longer the middle ages. Both men and woman live longer then in any time of history. There is no need to have a child at fourteen any more.

There are reasons that there are laws involving underage sex.

It's in a society that shuns away from talking and teaching about sex that these things happen.

It's about being responsible.

I sincerely hope that you grow out of your romanticized ideals about sex and it's consequences.

I will not tell someone how to run their life, that is never my intent. I will however be the first to tell someone when I fully believe what they are doing is a bad idea.

In that post I was not judging them. You on the other hand have come to my journal and accuse me of being narrow minded. You don't know me in any way other then through one comment on a community. I'd advise you to not make snap judgments in the future and attacking others on their personal journals.
